There would seem to be a gremlin that troubles many a WhatsApp user who sends voice messages. I’ve had a number of people complain to me that they and others they know can’t send messages longer than about 8 or 9 seconds long.
The issue is often thought to be a hardware or software one but in fact is normally not. The problem is caused by overzealous smart phone owners who buy screen protectors what are way too thick. If you’re experiencing this problem, try removing the protector. If the problem persists, it’s probably time to take your shiny smart phone back to the store and have it checked out.
So if you’re one of the many WhatsApp Voice Messaging users having trouble recording for more than a couple of seconds, give this a bash and hopefully it will solve your problem. It’s going to cost you a screen protector to try though.
